Soome ja Rootsi noored, projekt "Dream Community"

Basic idea:`
- Let's build "Dream community"!
- involving local decision makers into the project to co-operates with youngsters
- sharing methods on decision making in different countries & communities

What to do?
- introduce youngsters what could be done and how about circumstances in communities
- give methods and tools how to be a active participant and citizen
- building "Dream community" by non-formal learning real with materials and in ideological level
- observing realistic dreams and ways how to change them into action
- build a way to communicate with decision makers and heve the support & time to listen
- create a plan how to continue building a dream after project

- 2 international meetings (1/each country), 7-10 national meetings + visits etc.

Itaalia ja Tšehhi noored projektis "DemocraticABC"

"DemocraticABC" is a simple idea came up after several youth meetings and seminars. The main aim of the project is to create a space well defined as urban lab: the concept is to give opportunities to young people to be personally active in their local community, to do that, it is strictly necessary the meeting with public bodies and local NGOs.  Urban lab is a conceptual place where people meet each other finding practical solutions and ideas, exchanging best practises and so on...

The project is structured as follows:
First phase includes preparation and direct contacts with foreign partners, public bodies directly involved in the project, local NGOs; second phase includes first urban labs organized at local level; third phase includes an urban lab, longer than the others, including foreign partners, fourth phase includes closing activities and monitoring of the result throughout final reports.

Itaalia, Hispaania ja Saksamaa noored projektis "...and tomorrow it will depend on us..."

The project: "...and tomorrow it will depend on us - European young people discuss about the democratic systems of their countries", is lead by Verona Municipality and promoted in collaboration with 2 German and 2 Spanish Institutions. It is directed to 46 young people coming from Germany, Spain and Italy, and aims at developing the active citizenship of the young people, so strengthening their participation in the decision processes of their interest.

It develops in a period of 4 months and is based on the methods of group works, discussions and matchings which will take place both at local and at European level.

At local level the young participants will realize a research on the democratic systems of their countries, and on how they influence their lives, by interviewing their peers. At European level they will learn the function of the European Parliament through an informal learning workshop with the support of an expert, and they will test the practise of representative democracy through a "role-playing game": they will become "decision-makers" who discuss about a problem which they think is common to all their democratic systems.
